Binder reliability

At Global Oil we solve the problem of adhesiveness in mixtures of certain types of aggregates using bitumens. We have developed a broad range of additives which, together with the adequate bitumens, guarantee reliable aggregate-binder performance.

Properties and applications

The additives used promote adhesiveness, improve the chemical reaction between the aggregate and the bitumen, provide mixtures with greater durability, less aging, and greater ease of spreading of the binder over the aggregate surface.

Some of the main characteristics are as follows:

They provide the necessary cohesion in hot bituminous mixtures.
It widens the range of aggregates to be used.
It reduces the use of supply filters, and in many cases the recovery filter itself can be used.
